iRacing Required Decals

Some drivers use paid for services like Trading Paints Pro or other software such as Photoshop or GIMP, and if you do use these, follow the steps below to add your decals properly.

For drivers that don’t want to spend money on that service (and we totally are with you 😊 ) you can simply let us know the car you are driving, and we can add the decals for you. It take some work on our part, so remember to choose your car wisely and let us know several days before the race.

For Trading Paints Pro users:

From within the TP Paint Builder, perform the following steps.

1. Obtain the proper file for the car from the GTC website on the series page.
2. You will need to add the required decal as a “Logo” using the “Insert Logo” option.
3. Add the logo you uploaded and then drag the box to 1 corner and match it up to the corner, then drag the opposite corner all the way to the opposite corner. This image needs to stretch to every corner.
4. It will cover anything that is in those places where the decal is.
5. Once you have it all in place, go to the Logos and Text section, and click and drag that new decal layer down your list to the bottom of the list. This will make sure you can still click on the other items in your list without the decal layer interfering.
6. You will need to remove the “Default Decal Stamp” (turn it off).

For Photoshop/GIMP users.

1. Obtain the proper .tga or .png file for the car from the GTC website on the series page.
2. Add the decal layer as you would normally add any other decal.
3. You will need to remove the “Default Decal Stamp” (turn it off).
